China's leading technology companies showcased hundreds of advanced products, including humanoid robots and artificial intelligence systems, at the World AI Conference in Shanghai.

The annual event, held from July 17 to 20, took place amid growing technological competition between China and the United States. More than 1,100 companies participated in the conference.

Chinese state media reported that the country has developed more than 400 humanoid robot products, representing more than half of the global total. Chinese open-source AI models are also expanding their international reach, intensifying competition with leading US-developed AI models.
