The US Embassy in Dhaka has urged US visa applicants not to provide any false or misleading information during their interviews.

The embassy issued this warning on social media on Saturday.

The warning, aimed at visa applicants, states that consular officers are aware of any past immigration violations an applicant may have during the interview.

The embassy emphasizes that applicants should be 100% truthful during the interview without hiding anything or providing misleading information. If an applicant provides false information or presents forged documents, their visa application may be rejected and they may be permanently barred or banned from entering the United States in the future.
