Arsenal strengthened their grip on the Premier League title race with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Hull City, extending their lead at the top of the table to six points over rivals Manchester City.

The decisive moment arrived in the 72nd minute at the Emirates Stadium. Winger Noni Madueke drove dangerously into the penalty box from the right flank and unleashed a low, left-footed shot. Though Hull goalkeeper Ivorios Tzolakis parried the initial effort at his near post, captain Martin Ødegaard was first to react, sharply turning home the rebound to break the deadlock.

The Gunners dominated possession and pressure through the second half after a scoreless opening 45 minutes, ultimately securing their 27th point of the campaign and piling the pressure on the chasing pack.
