BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi praised Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s address to the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), highlighting that the speech delivered a strong global message centered on peace, humanity, equality, and mutual respect.

Speaking at a political event organized by party wings in Nayapaltan, Rizvi emphasized that the Prime Minister’s address reflected Bangladesh’s commitment to building a harmonious world order. He noted that global stability depends on nation-states maintaining respectful relations rooted in equal dignity, rather than relying on military force or aggressive posturing.

During his speech, Rizvi pointed out that people worldwide are suffering from the economic fallout of ongoing wars, which lead to rising commodity prices, energy shortages, and widespread unemployment. He reiterated that the message presented by the Prime Minister at the UN serves as a reminder that global leadership must prioritize diplomacy, education, and human welfare over armed conflict.

Rizvi also called upon party activists and citizens to stay vigilant against political destabilization attempts at home, asserting that democratic progress and economic recovery remain the government’s central priorities.
