The number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza has risen to 74,229, while 175,188 people have been injured, according to a statement from Gaza’s Health Ministry.

According to the ministry, seven more people were killed in Israeli attacks during the 24 hours from 6 AM local time on Friday to Saturday (October 2–3). Two of those killed had previously been receiving treatment for injuries.

The bodies of another person were recovered from beneath the rubble, while 20 more people were injured during the same period.

Gaza’s Health Ministry said that 1,445 Palestinians have been killed and 5,052 injured in Israeli attacks and violence since the so-called “ceasefire” announced in October 2024. During the same period, the bodies of 835 people were recovered from beneath the rubble.

Meanwhile, a large mass burial was held in Gaza on Thursday. The funeral and burial took place after the bodies of 105 people were recovered from the rubble of a residential building destroyed in an Israeli airstrike nearly three years ago.

Relatives and local residents gathered after the bodies, which had remained buried under the rubble for a long time, were recovered. The Gaza Health Ministry said efforts to identify the victims and recover more bodies are continuing.
