The National Pension Authority has approved profit distribution of 11.68% to 11.72% among subscribers of the Universal Pension Scheme for the 2025-26 fiscal year, reports BSS.

The authority earned a total investment profit of Tk 289,655,048.80 during the fiscal year, according to a press release issued on Monday, October 19.

The proposal to distribute the earnings among subscribers was approved at the authority’s fourth board meeting.

Under the decision, the profits will be credited to individual pension accounts based on the amount deposited and the duration of each subscriber’s contributions, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

National Pension Authority Executive Chairman Dr. Md. Suratuzzaman said the authority was working to strengthen public confidence in the universal pension system through transparency, security and reasonable returns on subscribers’ savings.

He said the profit distribution would directly benefit subscribers and help strengthen the scheme’s operations.

The press release said the calculated profits had been credited to the respective subscribers’ pension accounts.
