Biman Bangladesh Airlines has extended the suspension of Dhaka–Riyadh and Dhaka–Dammam flights until October 18 due to security concerns following attacks on Saudi airports.
The national carrier said the move was taken to ensure passenger safety. To meet urgent travel demand, it has increased capacity on alternative routes to Jeddah and Madinah.
Biman has deployed larger Boeing 777 aircraft on Madinah flights, adding 148 seats per flight, and arranged three additional flights to Jeddah.
The airline said further updates on suspended services and revised schedules would be announced later. Passengers have been advised to contact their nearest Biman sales centre for travel information.
