The Finance & Accounting Club of BRAC University (FINACT) has officially launched ACCQUANTUM 2026, a premier national-level accounting competition designed to challenge and elevate the analytical capabilities of undergraduate students across Bangladesh. Carrying the motto "The Science Behind Accounting," this initiative seeks to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world professional financial practice, providing students with a national platform to display their mastery of financial reporting, critical reasoning, and practical problem-solving.

Presented by Dhaka Bank PLC as Title Sponsor, alongside Hoorain HTF Ltd. as Gold Sponsor and ACCA as Knowledge Partner, the event features an impressive BDT 400,000 total prize pool. Open to all undergraduate students nationwide, participants can form teams of 3 to 4 members, with cross-university teams explicitly encouraged. The champion team will take home BDT 150,000, while the second and third-place teams will secure BDT 100,000 and BDT 75,000, respectively. Furthermore, each of the remaining three finalist teams will receive BDT 25,000.

The multi-round competition begins with Round 1 online, expecting participation from 300 to 400 teams nationwide. Following case distribution on October 9 and submissions on October 12, the top 30 teams will progress to a hybrid Round 2 involving secondary case solving and live presentations on October 25. The journey culminates on October 28 at the Multi-Purpose Hall of BRAC University's Merul Badda campus in Dhaka, where the top six finalist teams will battle for top honors in the Grand Finals after attending a specialized workshop on October 27.

Registration for the competition closes on October 7, 2026. To make participation accessible, students applying for a free Dhaka Bank SPARK Card can unlock up to a 100% discount on their registration fees. Interested candidates can register by scanning the official QR codes on promotional materials, visiting the official BRAC University Finance & Accounting Club Facebook page, or contacting FINACT directly via email at club.bufin@g.bracu.ac.bd.
