Bangladesh were bowled out for just 272 in their first innings after losing their last seven wickets for only 59 runs on the second day of the Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday.

The hosts resumed batting on 213 for three. But they lost their fourth wicket at 221 and then suffered a batting collapse.

Left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican took five wickets for 53 runs. It was his fourth five-wicket haul in Test cricket.

The day started well for Bangladesh as Shadman Islam completed his third Test century with the second ball of the morning. But the left-handed opener could not stay at the crease for long after reaching the milestone.

Bangladesh then lost their last five wickets for just 19 runs. Litton remained unbeaten on 34 off 88 balls, hitting four fours.

Bangladesh added only 59 runs on the second day before losing all their wickets.
