Rudi Buddeln Reportedly Identified as GTA 6 Leaker Behind ‘CyberLeek’

The identity of the person behind the controversial “CyberLeek” account, which has been releasing footage and other material from Grand Theft Auto VI, is reportedly being linked online to a German man named Rudi Buddeln.

The claim has spread rapidly across social media and gaming communities, with posts alleging that CyberLeek has been identified through information connecting the account to Germany. However, the identity claim has not yet been independently confirmed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive or a major law-enforcement agency, making it important to treat the allegation with caution.

CyberLeek has become one of the most prominent sources of recent GTA VI leaks. The account has released gameplay footage and other material that appears to come from an unreleased version of Rockstar's highly anticipated game. Recent footage reportedly shows the game's protagonist Jason shooting the word “LEEK” onto a wall, suggesting that the leaker may have access to an actual game build rather than simply previously recorded development footage.

The apparent access to a playable build has raised the stakes considerably for Rockstar.
