Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury taken to DB for questioning

Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury, an adviser to the autocratic Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina—who was ousted in the mass uprising of July 2024—was taken to Detective Branch (DB) office in Dhaka for questioning.
“We have taken him to the DB office for questioning to prevent any untoward incident,” Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Md Akter Hossain told the media on Wednesday, reports BSS.
However, he declined to provide further details.
